A bit about you
My name’s Jacqui, I’m an executive assistant and a mum of two. I love renovating our home with my hubby when I’m not at work, and I’ve just finished my seventh week on the Second Nature programme.
I joined the programme to lose weight and learn more about food, I knew it was working when I saw how easily the kgs were coming off in the first week, and I wasn’t even hungry!

I feel less bloated, have more energy, and I’m sleeping better than I have in years. I’ve fallen back in love with food again (it’s no longer the enemy!) and my skin condition is almost gone.
How would you compare Second Nature to other lifestyle change and weight loss programmes?
There is no comparison! Other programmes don’t teach you how to eat, so old patterns start back up the day you finish because you don’t know how and what to eat. For me, gaining support from a qualified health coach and having support from the group were the most helpful features of the programme.
Do you have any advice for people who might be looking to make a positive change?
It’s so easy, and you won’t be the least bit hungry. If you struggle, take it to the group and your coach and you’ll be given sound advice and all the encouragement you could ever need.
