Accessibility at Second Nature

We want everyone who visits the Second Nature website and uses our app to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

What are we doing?

To help us make Second Nature a positive place for everyone, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We've chosen Level AA as the target for the Second Nature website and app.

How are we doing?

We've worked hard on Second Nature and believe we've achieved our goal of Level AA accessibility. We monitor the website and app regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch.

To maximise accessibility to our content, you should be able to:

  • Access our article content in audio-version format
  • Integrate with native accessibility features for the latest versions of iOS and Android
  • Zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • Navigate the website using just a keyboard
  • Navigate the website using speech recognition software
  • Listen to the website using a screen reader
  • Use interactive elements that meet minimum target size requirements
  • Complete forms without being asked for the same information twice
  • Access help and support options consistently across the website

We've also made the text we use as simple as possible to understand.
