No-Regain Guarantee™ — Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions cover two related but distinct things:

  1. The 12-Month Commitment Plan — a subscription you agree to at signup. You are billed monthly at a discounted rate (saving £25 per month, or £325 over the full 12 months, compared to the standard monthly price). You can exit early if there is good reason — for example, if your clinician advises you to stop treatment. The commitment plan is covered in Section 11.
  2. The No-Regain Guarantee™ — a separate money-back promise that only becomes active after you have completed your 12-month commitment and discontinued medication under clinician guidance. If you then regain more than 20% of the total weight you lost, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund. The guarantee is covered in Sections 3–10.

These two things work together: the 12-month commitment gives you the time to lose weight and build lasting habits; the No-Regain Guarantee™ gives you financial protection once you've done that and come off medication. If you leave the programme early, the No-Regain Guarantee™ simply does not apply.

By enrolling in a 12-month commitment plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Programme Start Date

The No-Regain Guarantee™ applies only to new members who enrol in and start the Second Nature Weight Loss Programme on or after 1 March 2026 on a 12-month commitment plan.

Members enrolled prior to this date, transferred from earlier programme versions, or restarting an existing membership are not eligible.

Second Nature reserves the right to determine eligibility based on enrolment records.

3.2 Commitment Plan Requirement

You must be enrolled in and have completed the full 12-month commitment plan. Members on monthly rolling plans, 3-month plans, or 6-month plans are not eligible for the No-Regain Guarantee™.

If you cancel your 12-month plan early or fail to complete all 12 monthly payments, you forfeit eligibility for this guarantee.

3.3 Prior Medication Use

You must not have used any prescription weight-loss medication in the 6 months prior to starting treatment with Second Nature, including (but not limited to): Orlistat, Mysimba, or GLP-1 receptor agonist medications such as semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy), tirzepatide (Mounjaro), or liraglutide (Saxenda).

If you disclosed prior prescription weight-loss medication use at the time of enrolment and Second Nature accepted your enrolment and processed payment, you acknowledge that this does not qualify you for the No-Regain Guarantee™.

3.4 Medical Eligibility

You must have been assessed and approved for treatment by a Second Nature clinician.

If you and your clinician decide to stop medication early — for example due to side effects, tolerability issues, or because it is no longer clinically appropriate — this does not automatically disqualify you from the guarantee. Provided you continue to engage with the Programme (coaching, behavioural support, and lifestyle guidance) and meet the other eligibility criteria, you may still be eligible to claim.

The key requirement is that any change to your medication is made in consultation with your Second Nature clinician and recorded within the Programme.

4. Programme Engagement Requirements

4.1 Active Treatment Phase

During the active treatment phase, you must:

  • Use prescribed medication in accordance with your Treatment Plan and clinician instructions for the duration of active treatment;
  • Engage with your assigned health coach as advised;
  • Read and complete core educational articles and programme content;
  • Use tools and habit-change features provided within the Second Nature app;
  • Record weight updates and progress information when requested; and
  • Follow behavioural and lifestyle guidance alongside prescribed medication.

The Programme combines prescribed medication with behavioural and lifestyle support. Eligibility requires participation in the Programme as designed — medication use alone is not sufficient.

4.2 Maintenance Phase

Following clinician-guided medication discontinuation, you must demonstrate reasonable participation in the maintenance phase, including:

  • Continued engagement with maintenance coaching support;
  • Following recommended habit-change and lifestyle practices;
  • Recording weight measurements as requested; and
  • Attending any scheduled check-ins or consultations.

4.3 Assessment of Engagement

Second Nature may assess engagement using activity and participation data recorded within the app. Failure to meet the engagement requirements set out in this section may result in loss of eligibility, at Second Nature's reasonable discretion.

5. Goal Weight and Medication Discontinuation

5.1 Goal Weight Requirement

You must reach a clinically agreed goal weight during active treatment, as recorded in the Second Nature app. Your Goal Weight is the lowest weight recorded during the active treatment phase.

5.2 Medication Discontinuation

Your clinician may recommend discontinuing or adjusting prescribed weight-loss medication at any point during the Programme. This may happen for a number of reasons, including (but not limited to):

  • Side effects or tolerability concerns;
  • A clinical decision that medication is no longer required or beneficial;
  • A mutual decision between you and your clinician based on your progress and wellbeing.

Medication discontinuation is a clinician-led decision made in your best interest — it is not a condition imposed to lock you into a prescription. You are free to discuss stopping medication with your clinician at any time.

Stopping medication does not mean leaving the Programme. You may continue to access coaching, behavioural support, and all other Programme features after discontinuing medication.

For the purposes of the No-Regain Guarantee™, the Guarantee Period begins once medication discontinuation has been confirmed by your clinician and a stabilised weight measurement has been recorded following the Stabilisation Period. If you stop medication without consulting your clinician, Second Nature may not be able to verify your discontinuation date, which could affect your ability to make a claim.

6. Definition and Measurement of Weight Regain

6.1 Regain Threshold

A claim may be made if your recorded weight increases by more than 20% of the Total Weight Lost between your Starting Weight and Goal Weight.

Example: If you lose 20 kg (from 100 kg to 80 kg) and later regain more than 4 kg (i.e. your weight exceeds 84 kg), you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund.

6.2 Stabilisation Allowance

Weight regain is assessed after the Stabilisation Period following medication discontinuation. This period allows for normal physiological adjustment and will be determined by the clinical team. Weight fluctuations during the Stabilisation Period do not count towards the regain threshold.

6.3 Weight Recording

All weight measurements used for the purposes of this guarantee must be recorded within the Second Nature app or submitted through an approved verification process as reasonably requested by Second Nature.

7. Claim Process

7.1 Guarantee Period

The No-Regain Guarantee™ applies for 12 months following clinician-guided discontinuation of medication.

7.2 Claim Window

To make a claim, you must submit a refund request within 30 days of first meeting the regain threshold (i.e. within 30 days of a recorded weight that exceeds 20% of Total Weight Lost above your Goal Weight).

Claims submitted outside this 30-day window will not be accepted.

7.3 Required Documentation

Your refund request must include:

  • Your full name and order/membership number;
  • An up-to-date weight reading (taken within 7 days of the request);
  • A recent full-length photograph wearing fitted clothing; and
  • Any additional verification reasonably requested by the clinical team.

7.4 How to Submit

Requests must be sent to: support@secondnature.io

Second Nature will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and aims to process valid claims within 30 business days.

8. Refund Calculation

8.1 Pro-Rata Refund

Refunds will be prorated to reflect the proportion of weight regained beyond the 20% allowance.

Example: If you lose 20 kg and later regain 6 kg (30% of Total Weight Lost), you have exceeded the 20% threshold by 10 percentage points. Your refund will reflect the excess regain beyond the 20% threshold proportionately.

8.2 Maximum Refund

The maximum refund payable under the No-Regain Guarantee™ shall not exceed the total Weight Loss Service subscription fees paid by you during your 12-month commitment plan.

8.3 Exclusions from Refund

The following are excluded from any refund calculation:

  • Medication costs;
  • Delivery and shipping fees;
  • Clinical consultation fees;
  • Any additional products or services purchased; and
  • Any amounts already refunded or credited to your account.

9. Refund Conditions

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase;
  • Only one claim per customeris permitted under the No-Regain Guarantee™;
  • Refunds apply only to Weight Loss Service subscription fees;
  • You must not have any outstanding balance or unpaid instalments on your 12-month commitment plan at the time of claim; and
  • Second Nature reserves the right to request additional medical or programme-related information to verify a claim.

10. Circumstances That Invalidate the Guarantee

The No-Regain Guarantee™ will not apply if:

  • You leave the programme before completing the full 12-month commitment (the guarantee only activates after the commitment is complete);
  • You stop taking medication without informing your Second Nature clinician (making it impossible to verify your discontinuation date and establish the Guarantee Period);
  • You fail to meet the Programme engagement requirements set out in Section 4;
  • You provide false, misleading, or incomplete information at any stage;
  • Weight regain is attributable to a new medical condition, pregnancy, or change in medication unrelated to the Programme;
  • You transfer your subscription or allow another person to use your account; or
  • You have previously received a refund under this or any other Second Nature guarantee.

For clarity: Stopping medication because of side effects, clinician recommendation, or a mutual decision with your clinician does notdisqualify you from the guarantee — provided you remain on the programme, continue engaging, and the change was made in consultation with your clinician and recorded within the Programme.

11. 12-Month Commitment Plan Terms

11.1 What the Commitment Means

By selecting the 12-month commitment plan, you agree to a minimum subscription period of 12 consecutive months, billed monthly on the same date each month (or the nearest available date).

In return, you receive a £25 discount per month compared to the standard monthly price — a total saving of £325 over 12 months.

11.2 Leaving Early

We understand that circumstances change. If you need to leave the programme before completing the full 12 months, you can do so — particularly if:

  • Your clinician advises that treatment should stop;
  • You experience side effects that cannot be managed (see Section 5.2); or
  • There are other legitimate clinical or personal reasons.

If you leave early:

  • You will lose the monthly discount and may be required to pay the difference between the discounted rate you paid and the standard monthly rate for the months you were enrolled; and
  • The No-Regain Guarantee™ will not apply, as it only becomes active after successful completion of the full 12-month programme.

Leaving early is not a penalty — but the No-Regain Guarantee™ is designed for members who complete the full programme. If you leave for clinical reasons, you simply return to the standard terms without the guarantee.

11.3 What's Included

The 12-month commitment plan includes:

  • Your GLP-1 medication (Mounjaro or Wegovy, depending on your prescription), delivered to your door each month;
  • The full Second Nature Weight Loss Programme;
  • A personal health coach, with weekly check-ins;
  • Guidance on food, movement, and building better habits;
  • Access to the Second Nature app and tracking tools; and
  • Eligibility for the No-Regain Guarantee™ (subject to these Terms and Conditions).

There are no hidden fees. Medication and programme support are included together in one monthly price.

11.4 After the Commitment Period

At the end of your 12-month commitment, your subscription will automatically continue on a rolling monthly basis at the then-current standard monthly rate unless you cancel before the renewal date.

12. Limitations of Liability

  • The No-Regain Guarantee™ is a commercial promise and does not constitute medical advice or a guarantee of specific health outcomes.
  • Second Nature does not guarantee any particular amount of weight loss or maintenance.
  • Individual results vary based on factors including (but not limited to) genetics, adherence, lifestyle, and medical history.
  • Second Nature's total liability under the No-Regain Guarantee™ is limited to the refund amount calculated in accordance with Section 8.
  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

13. Data and Privacy

Weight data, photographs, and other personal information submitted in connection with a claim under the No-Regain Guarantee™ will be processed in accordance with Second Nature's Privacy Policy. By making a claim, you consent to the use of this data for the purposes of assessing and verifying your claim.

14. Changes to These Terms

Second Nature reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will not apply retrospectively to members already enrolled under an existing 12-month commitment plan with the No-Regain Guarantee™, except where required by law.

Any material changes will be communicated to you via email or through the Second Nature app.
